The skin is expected to peel within 3-5 days, depending on the penetration depth and the current condition of the client's skin. Not everyone will experience peeling after the procedure, which does not mean that the treatment is not working; it is more likely that the area is renewing faster. The Spongilla spikes will not be absorbed, but can remain on the skin for 48-72 hours. After this time, they will be removed along with the shedding skin layer. Compared to traditional metal microneedling, the procedure is much simpler and the risk of infection is significantly reduced. It is recommended to complete a course of 4 sessions with an interval of 2 weeks to achieve long-lasting and effective results on the face. For other parts of the body and depending on the skin's condition, a course of 6 to 8 sessions may be necessary. Since we continue to age and are daily exposed to environmental influences, maintenance sessions every 8-12 weeks are necessary to maintain long-term results, and at-home skincare tips are important.

The SQT procedure is similar to a peel with an exfoliating effect, which becomes more intense during the process; the microneedling part of the procedure lasts only 5 to 10 minutes. No anesthetic is required, and the procedure causes more of a sensation than pain.
