How a PRX-T33 Treatment Works

Step 1. Consultation and skin analysis

We go through your skin, your goals and your current skincare routine. We also make sure there are no contraindications or other factors that mean the treatment should be avoided or adapted. We then decide which areas to treat and how best to adapt the treatment to your skin.

Step 2. Cleansing and preparation

The skin is thoroughly cleansed of makeup, sunscreen and sebum. Cleansing lowers the skin's pH and allows PRX-T33 to be absorbed evenly. Without this step the absorption becomes uneven.

Step 3. Application with massage technique

We massage PRX-T33 into the skin layer by layer using a specific application technique. The number of layers is adapted to your skin's thickness, sensitivity and needs, usually around three layers, though between one and five can be used depending on the condition of the skin. During the treatment you may feel a brief sensation of warmth or tingling.

Step 4. Neutralisation and aftercare

After the application, the remaining PRX-T33 is rinsed off with water and the treatment is finished with a hydrating and nourishing cream. You receive clear instructions on how to care for your skin at home and, when home care products are included, products specifically adapted for PRX-T33. Correct aftercare helps hydrate the skin and complements the treatment between your visits.

Is recovery difficult after PRX-T33?

No. You can return to your normal routine straight after the treatment. The skin may feel tight and look slightly red for a few hours, and some dryness or light flaking can occur for a couple of days. We recommend sun protection and avoiding acids and retinol for the first few days.

How many sessions are recommended and how long do the results last?

We recommend a course of four treatments one week apart. Results usually last for several months and depend on your skin, age and lifestyle. Many clients maintain the effect with one treatment every three to six months.

Does PRX-T33 hurt?

No, the treatment is almost painless. The most common sensation is brief warmth or light tingling during application that passes within a few minutes. No anaesthetic is needed.

Can PRX-T33 be combined with other treatments?

Yes. PRX-T33 is often combined with microneedling, skincare treatments and injectables for a better overall result. We plan the order and the intervals for you so the skin has time to recover between sessions.

How is PRX-T33 different from a traditional chemical peel?

PRX-T33 works deep in the skin without damaging the surface. The hydrogen peroxide buffers the acid, which lets it reach the dermis without frosting and without the visible peeling a traditional peel causes. A regular peel mainly exfoliates the surface and often requires several days of recovery.

Are there any risks and side effects with PRX-T33?

Side effects are few and temporary. The most common are mild redness, tightness, dryness or light itching during the first day. The treatment is not performed during pregnancy, breastfeeding, on active acne, on open wounds or in case of allergy to the ingredients.

Which areas can be treated with PRX-T33?

We treat the face, neck and décolletage. The areas can be treated separately or in the same session. We often recommend face and neck together, since the neck shows age early.
